This Privacy Policy explains how Buyary, Inc. (“Buyary,” “we,” “us,” “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information in connection with our websites, applications, and related services (the “Services”).

Account info, usage data, bookmarks/co-shopping comments, quiz answers, and technical data.

  • Account Information:

    name, email, password, and profile image.

  • Browsing Behavior:

    pages viewed, searches, clicks/interactions with listings, scores, and sponsored placements.

  • Bookmarks & Co-Shopping:

    items you save and comments you leave in those features.

  • Shopping Preference Quiz Responses:

    answers about your preferences and shopping habits.

  • Technical Data:

    IP address, device and browser type, operating system, and cookies or similar technologies.

How We Use Information

Summary

To operate Buyary and deliver recommendations, scoring, editorial choices, API syndication, and sponsored relevance.

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Services.
  • Personalize content and recommendations.
  • Generate aggregated scoring based on Third-Party Content.
  • Enable API syndication of Buyary scores for partners.
  • Inform original editorial content, such as category explainers (using aggregated, non-identifiable interest data).
  • Measure and display relevant sponsored placements.
  • Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

Sharing of Information

Summary

We share scores with retailers; we share product preferences only with your explicit permission.

  • Retailers & Partners:

    Buyary product scores and aggregated review data may be shared with retailers who display Buyary scores on their sites.

  • User Preferences (Opt-in Only):

    Your product preferences may be shared with retailers only if you have expressly opted in via your account settings.

  • Service Providers:

    We use vendors (hosting, analytics, security, support) under appropriate safeguards.

  • Affiliates/Links:

    Some outbound links are affiliate links; commissions do not affect our scoring or editorial independence.

  • Legal:

    We may disclose information to comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect rights and safety.

  • No Sale:

    Buyary does not sell personal information.

We use cookies, SDKs, and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember preferences, analyze usage, improve performance, and measure sponsored placements. You may control cookies through your browser settings; some features may not function properly without them.

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security and business continuity. Retention periods vary by data type and purpose.

Security

We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information we process. However, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable.

Children

The Services are not directed to children under 16 (or the applicable minimum age of digital consent). We do not knowingly collect personal information from such children.
